Personally, I think that the brick was a giant winged pair great material constructions of the past because their properties were excellent for the time, was best known material.
However I believe that this material is more than decorative use as their resistance is minor compared with other materials.
Despite this, I think an excellent material for in spite of its disadvantages is also favorable for resistance to fire and climate, and this provides more security, for example to build a house. Taking up the first thing I mentioned, I can say that my argument for thinking that serves mostly for decorating are all existing placement techniques, as it is aesthetically pleasing and variety of these techniques makes it can be used in different contexts.
